Thursday, February 5th, 2015 was the first official OTB fundraising event at the Putney High School, and it was an incredible success! The day included 2 assemblies explaining the work of OTB and fun "believe-it-or-not" facts about Ethiopia.

 

The OTB team also hosted a series of interactive and informative workshops throughout the day. Over 160 traditional Ethiopian scarves were sold and worn. But without a doubt the highlight was Dan-Kira Entertainment dance group performing 2 stunning traditional dances and then leading a sponsored “Ethio-Esiksta” shake!!! 513 girls, aged 4 - 12, and 16 teachers took part raised £2500 toward the building of the Adventure Playground at Balderas condominium.
